MQI is currently seeking to recruit a Graduate Intern at St. Francis Farm for 2019
What is it ……..
This programme offers an opportunity for 4 college graduates to gain skills, knowledge and experience in the area of social care especially as it relates to the issues of addiction and /or homelessness. We are especially interested in hearing from graduates who have completed degree qualifications in either social care or social science.
What we provide………..
While on our programme, the graduate Intern is paid a living allowance of €17,381 based on a 35-hour week. They have access to regular supervision, quality based training and employee assistance. As well as being primarily allocated to work in one service, they also have the opportunity to visit each of the other MQI services to see how they operate.
What we ask of the Graduate Intern…
In exchange for this, they are asked to work 35 hours a week for a period of one year. It is important to us that they are committed to developing their skills and knowledge for the benefit of those who are marginalized through drug use or homelessness.
Where will it be ……?
The Graduate intern will be working at St. Francis Farm Detox (Tullow, Co. Carlow)
