Alan is the Community Liaison Officer for the Medically Supervised Injecting Facility (MSIF). As Community Liaison Officer, Alan will be working to ensure that local residents and businesses are informed of plans for the MSIF as they develop. He will also be the primary point of contact for those in the local community who wish to contact MQI about the MSIF. Alan is also the Community Engagement Coordinator for Merchants Quay. In this role, Alan works in partnership with the local community in resolving any community issues related to MQI’s work.

He joined MQI in 1996, and was the Drop-In Centre Manager for Riverbank for 15 years. Alan has a strong commitment to social justice and works collaboratively to deliver quality services in a non-judgemental and compassionate environment.
