Aftercare Housing

Home management skills; cooking skills, and budgetingMerchants Quay Ireland offers limited aftercare housing in the form of supportive accommodation, to people in recovery who find themselves homeless after completing residential rehabilitation treatment. Clients must have completed a residential rehabilitation programme in order to access aftercare housing.

We foster an environment of support and safety, endeavouring to allow those who come to us to develop their practical life skills. Each service user commits to remaining drug and alcohol-free while participating in a therapeutic day programme.

Kildare Aftercare Housing

Finding accommodation for the large proportion of clients leaving our residential rehab services who are effectively homeless has become increasingly challenging in recent years. MQI operates two short-term transitional housing services, one in Dublin, developed with the support of one of the organisation’s donors, the other in Kildare, developed in partnership with Respond Housing Association. Across both houses, we provide a total capacity of 12 supported accommodation units.

Dublin Drug Free Programme

This programme runs in partnership with Crumlin College.
