“Riverbank was the only place in my life where anybody knew my name” - Peter, Riverbank client

It is down to the kindness, and compassion, of MQI’s loyal supporters that we are able to provide the cups of tea, the hot showers, the nourishing meals, the health care, and the chance to get life back on track.

In our Autumn Quay Times Newsletter we are celebrating just that!

You’ll read how donations help people who have nowhere else to turn. In it we meet Peter, who came to our Riverbank drop-in centre at the worst time of his life. Thanks to the kindness of supporters, Peter got the support he needed to journey from sleeping rough behind Connelly station to rebuilding his life after rehabilitation.

We also meet Amy and Darren, who work tirelessly in our Riverbank drop-in centre. They share stories which capture the harsh reality of being homeless in Ireland today. And they describe how, above everything else, it’s human connection and care that supports people to heal from the deepest of wounds.

Why not make a cup of tea and read the full newsletter here.

Or, if you’d prefer a copy for yourself. Please feel free to call Supporter Care and we’ll pop one in the post for you!
