Specific Terms relating to job applicants


This section sets out the Terms and Conditions for job applicants who are considering making an application to MQI via this website. Our Privacy Statement covers general data protection issues for people using www.mqi.ie and should be read in conjunction with these Terms.

  1. The information that you submit through this website will be used to assess your suitability for employment with MQI, human resources administration and training purposes.
  2. All job applications sent through this website are sent directly to the HR department in MQI Head Office.
  3. The HR department will control the personal information that you submit in your application and take responsibility for the protection of that information.
  4. MQI has appropriate security procedures in place and will endeavour to protect your data at all times. Personal information submitted as part of a job application with MQI will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
  5. MQI may keep your information for a reasonable period in accordance with relevant legislation if your application is unsuccessful. If you wish you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold on to you in order to correct any inaccuracies. You may inform us of any changes in your personal information, and in accordance with our obligations under data protection legislation, we will update or delete your personal information accordingly.
  6. By submitting an application form and/or CV to MQI via this website, you thereby certify that you have not knowingly withheld any information that might adversely affect your chances for employment and that the information you have provided is, to the best of your knowledge, true, complete and accurate.
  7. You further certify that you have personally completed any application submitted in your name.
  8. You understand that any omission or misstatement of material fact on any application or on any document used to secure employment shall be grounds for rejection of such application or for immediate discharge if you are employed, regardless of the time elapsed before discovery.
  9. MQI does not guarantee the availability of any job advertised on our website and will not be responsible should MQI have filled a vacancy at any time prior to the removal of the advertisement from our website www.mqi.ie.
