The streets are brutal. Long nights trying to sleep on the hard pavement. The cold went deep, deep into my bones and my whole body ached with hunger. When you’re homeless, food is the number one priority. It is tremendous to come into MQI for some food – a bowl of soup or a roast dinner. After days without a proper meal, nothing tastes better. Safety
