Northeast Family Support Service – Louth and Meath
Trying to understand and support someone with alcohol or drug problems can be extremely challenging causing an enormous amount of stress strain and or worry for family and friends.
Please understand you are not alone.
The Northeast Family Support Service offers a free, confidential, non-judgemental, and supportive service. We offer outreach-based appointments in the community throughout counties Louth and Meath to any family member, partner or friend impacted by a loved one’s addiction.

We know it can be difficult, isolating, and emotional for family and friends when a loved one is experiencing addiction. You are not alone.
We offer a confidential one-to-one service, as well as the option of a family support group, to provide you with support and practical information on how to navigate the challenges you are facing.
We have offices in Wicklow Town and Arklow, or we can offer outreach-based appointments in the community.

Dublin Family Support
Merchants Quay Ireland’s family support service provides family members with counselling, advice and guidance to deal with the trauma and issues associated with discovering a loved one is caught in addiction.
We run weekly family support groups where participants share their experiences and offer advice on how best to navigate the challenges presented by addiction.
Our Family Support service offers:
