Sunday Dinner Lenten Appeal

A warm welcome on a Sunday starts with a hot roast dinner, but it opens up so much more… It’s an opportunity to speak to a case worker, and get crisis support. It’s a moment to warm up from the cold, fill up on food – and find hope once again.

When I first came here, they helped me straight away. They didn’t tell me to come back another day. I also didn’t have to go to five different places to get help. I come to one place, and they help me with meals, showers, nurses everything.

The Sunday Dinner Service

You can provide a lifeline to MQI clients each Sunday: 
  • A Hot Meal and a Warm Space: A simple meal or cup of tea can offer physical warmth and comfort to someone in need.
  • Access to Essential Services: Your support means a person in crisis can get help at the weekend; help with emergency accommodation, nursing or mental health supports.
  • A Sense of Belonging and Compassion: More than just meeting basic needs, your donation helps create a place where people feel valued and cared for—without judgment.
