<span style="color: black;">Following a career as an occupational therapist, Marie worked as Regional Director for seven years with the Irish Wheelchair Association – this brief included both a service management and a development role. Prior to commencing employment with the Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) in 2007, Marie obtained her MSc. Her work with the IHF as Head of Healthcare Programmes has focused on initiating innovative programmes and creating resources to support the development of palliative and end of life care for people with all life limiting diseases in all care settings. In both roles, Marie supported the delivery of services and programmes that met identified gaps for the respective client base.</span>
