How your School can help!

There are lots of ways for young people to get involved to help those who are homeless and hungry. Merchants Quay Ireland welcomes support from schools and creches who want to help make a difference to those in need.

  • Super Hero Day – Dress up as your favourite super hero and suggest a Donation of €5 per student to help support Merchants Quay Ireland
  • Bake Sale –  What’s sweeter than a cake? One that helps someone in need! Have a bake sale in your class, we provide DIY Cake Flags, Table cards and Make-Your-Own-Bunting for you to color in and make your cake table and irresis-table…get it 🙂
  • Christmas Jumper Day – Christmas is nearly upon us! So why not jazz up a geansaí to raise much needed funds! Suggest a Donation of €5 euro per student and maybe offer a prize for the most sparkly and festive one!
  • Your own Fundraising Idea – If you have your own idea that you would like to do to raise funds please let us know and we can send you all you need to support your class call Maggie on 015240139 or email communityfundraising@mqi.ie

These are just some of the fun ways to get your school involved to help those who are cold and lonely on our streets. fundraising page for your school to collect donations making it simple to share on your social media and with parents, family and the wider community.

We value our young people who want share in our mission to have a society where nobody has to go hungry or live in homelessness. We can arrange for a member of our Outreach Team to talk to your class as part of our MQI Schools programme on the work Merchants Quay Ireland provides.
